As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, Context Summits is actively monitoring and assessing the current situation and its impact on our clients and our ability to safely and responsibly deliver on our events.
As part of our preparedness plan, Context Summits created a task force to explore specific protocols to comply with CDC, PHE, and WHO guidelines, and to ensure collaboration with partners and authorities in each event city. The team is focused on assessing and addressing risk with the goal of implementing safety measures, contingency plans, and open and transparent communication with our clients and partners. While we plan to provide periodic updates regarding our events, we have answered some frequently asked questions below. Please feel free to contact us at any time with any additional questions or concerns.
Are you moving forward with your scheduled in-person events?
Yes, Context Summits remains committed to hosting scheduled in-person events. We continually monitor the guidelines from global health organizations to ensure we are meeting or exceeding recommended precautions. Further, we are in close contact with venues, suppliers, event partners, and industry colleagues to collaborate on delivering a safe and comfortable experience for our attendees. We will continue to provide updates as our strategy develops.
If an event is cancelled due to COVID-19 related circumstances, is there a refund policy for managers already registered?
While we hope a safe resolution to the global pandemic is near, a future in-person event may be canceled based on travel and interaction restrictions imposed by governing bodies or recommendations from global health organizations such as the CDC, WHO, and PHE.
If an event for which a participant has paid registration fees is cancelled, or if federal, state, or local government orders make it illegal or impossible for an event to proceed on the dates scheduled, all registration fees paid by participant towards that event shall be credited towards registration for a future Context Summit event scheduled to occur within one (1) year of the canceled event’s dates.
